Focusing on international commercial litigation and arbitration in the financial services sector, Bhattacharyya recently acted for the syndicate of Indian banks in high-profile arbitration proceedings brought under the UNCITRAL rules by the syndicate of offshore banks, arising out of the Dabhol power plant in India.
